Gordon LaForge

Gordon is a policy principal and strategic advisor specializing in the intersection of artificial intelligence, geopolitics, and international governance. He directs initiatives focused on institutional reform and redesigning global cooperation for an age of digital and planetary challenges. He is a Senior Policy Analyst at New America and a global policy educator, serving as an external faculty member at Stanford University’s Leadership Academy for Development and a visiting instructor at Oxford University’s Blavatnik School of Government. A former Fulbright Fellow and international affairs journalist, he previously spearheaded research at Princeton University’s Innovations for Successful Societies program and managed geopolitical risk analysis for Predata, a predictive analytics firm. His writing and analysis have appeared in The New York TimesForeign AffairsSlate, and other outlets. He is a Term Member of the Council on Foreign Relations and holds a master's degree in international relations from Princeton University.
